About Chef Jojo Ruiz

Executive Chef and Partner of Clique Hospitality's Premier San Diego Restaurants: Lionfish and Serea, Jose "JoJo" Ruiz is a leading figure in the San Diego restaurant scene. A San Diego native, Chef Ruiz has earned the prestigious accolade of James Beard Certified Smart Catch Leader due to his commitment to sustainable seafood practices. He has been awarded this recognition for both 2019 and 2020, making Lionfish and Serea the only restaurants in San Diego and Coronado to have achieved this feat.
