Located just 15 miles from downtown Charleston, South Carolina, we provide an interactive and engaging activity for you and your loved ones.

Trail Rides for Fun & Family

Our daily trail rides cater to riders of all skill levels, making it the perfect experience for both novices and experienced equestrians. The tours meander along the scenic Middleton Place Plantation and around its picturesque south rice pond, offering stunning views of the Ashley River. Each tour is approximately one hour long and features knowledgeable guides who will share captivating stories about the Plantation and its history.

We offer daily trail rides at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 2:00 PM. Our Saturday and Sunday evening rides are currently scheduled for 4:00 PM. Please ensure that you arrive 15-20 minutes before your designated ride time, as late arrivals will not be refunded. Reservations and Availability

To secure your spot, please book online at least 24 hours in advance. For last-minute bookings, contact us by phone. We encourage you to book early, as spaces fill up quickly! We kindly ask that children under the age of 8 do not participate in the trail rides, and those aged 8 and up must be accompanied by an adult.

Preparing for Your Ride

To ensure a pleasant and safe experience, please adhere to the following guidelines when preparing for your trail ride:

1. Wear long pants and comfortable clothing suitable for horseback riding.

2. Refrain from wearing open-toed shoes of any kind.

3. Comply with our weight and age restrictions (240 lbs/under 8 Years).

For your safety and comfort, we provide complimentary HIT-AIR vests to all riders. These air-filled vests are designed to reduce the risk of injury during riding activities.
