Mid-Illinois Gymnastics & Dance

Established in 1969, we are the oldest private gymnastics club in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Our mission is to cherish your children while teaching them the art of gymnastics and dance. We offer a variety of programs designed to cater to all ages and skill levels, from Tumble Tot with Parent to advanced competitive teams. Our highly qualified and safety-oriented staff ensure that every student receives professional, progressive, and safe instruction in fundamental movement and gymnastic skills.

Gymnastics and Dance Programs - For Fun and Competition

Our programs are designed to not only provide high-level physical fitness but also recreational fun. Whether you are looking for a class to improve your agility, flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination, confidence, or self-esteem, we have something for you. Our dance programs are scheduled separately with our experienced dance instructors. For those who are more serious about their craft, we offer competitive teams, including girls' Xcel, USA Gymnastics competitive team Levels 1 through 10-Elite, and boys and girls "Tumble Team." Our gymnasts and tumblers have a proud tradition of winning, and we are committed to helping each student achieve their full potential.

Professional Staff and Coaches - Our Team of Experts

Our team of coaches and instructors are among the best in the industry. With a combined experience of decades in gymnastics and dance, they are dedicated to providing exceptional training and guidance. Our owners, Larry N. Moehn and Louise Pope Moehn, are both USAG Safety and Skill certified and have coached Olympic hopefuls, state, regional, and national champions. Our staff also includes Kristin Moehn Bower, who is the Head Coach of all the Tumbling and AA teams and a former USAG State Champion. We are proud of our team and their commitment to excellence.

At Mid-Illinois Gymnastics and Dance, Inc., we are committed to excellence and safety. Our state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with the latest technology, including a carpeted spring and foam floor, foam and solid pits, special mats, Tumbl-Trak, Rod Floor, balance beams, uneven bars, vault horses, trainer bars, pre-school play shapes, and a hardwood floor dance room with a balcony overlooking the gym. We ensure that every student has the best possible environment to learn and grow.
