Meet Dr. Buenaventura
Our team is led by Dr. Rick Buenaventura, an experienced interventional pain management specialist. Dr. Buenaventura is not only a dedicated practitioner but also an advocate for pain management. He has published numerous articles in national journals related to the field of pain management and actively lectures and trains other physicians on interventional pain management techniques.
Dr. Buenaventura's medical education was obtained at Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans, and he completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He served in the United States Air Force as a Staff Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Physician at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center, where he received the Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal.
Dr. Buenaventura has advanced training in Pain Medicine from Ohio State University Medical Center and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine, American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Board of Anesthesiology, with a subspecialty certification in pain medicine.

We are accepting new patients and welcome non-physician referrals. We accept most commercial insurance plans, Medicare, and Ohio Workers Compensation. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
