What types of dogs qualify for boarding at Mountain Pets?
We accept well-trained dogs aged 10 months and older who are spayed/neutered, fully housebroken, and demonstrate good social skills with other dogs. Exclusions apply for aggressive breeds and dogs requiring constant supervision.
Do you offer farm sitting services for commercial properties?
Our farm sitting services focus on hobby farms and private residences. We cannot accommodate commercial operations due to insurance limitations on animal product sales.
What bird species can you board?
We board small to medium parrots, finches, and similar birds. Macaws and cockatoos are excluded unless they demonstrate exceptional boarding behavior during trial assessments.
How do you handle emergency situations?
As licensed, bonded professionals with animal first aid training, we coordinate immediate veterinary care when needed. Our insurance covers care, custody, and control of animals during emergencies.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, PayPal, cash, and checks made payable to Mountain Pets LLC. A 50% deposit is required for peak period bookings.
