The Ballet Theatre of Carmel Academy is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing dancers to their fullest potential. We believe that through encouragement, discipline, and dedication, our professional instructors can nurture dancers to a higher degree of achievement, confidence, and self-esteem. Our mission is to provide young dancing artists with the tools necessary to succeed in the collegiate and professional market both nationally and internationally.
Philosophy and Training Methods
Our training methods are designed to provide high-quality artistic training while emphasizing the basics of dancer health and child development. We incorporate the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.

Our faculty is comprised of experienced dancers and educators who are dedicated to providing expert instruction and guidance to our students. Our faculty includes Jane Hachiya-Weiner, Artistic Director, Frank Weiner, Associate Artistic Director, and other respected professionals in the field.
