Founded by Nik Armitage & JJ Thompson in Spokane, Washington. Armitage & Thompson is a law firm founded by Nik Armitage and JJ Thompson. Our lawyers are licensed to practice law in Washington and Idaho, and our primary focus is representing people who have been harmed by others. We take on bullies, insurance companies, corporations, government, and other tortious actors on behalf of our clients. We work tirelessly to ensure that our clients obtain justice and the compensation they deserve.

Nik and JJ are experienced lawyers. They have litigated hundreds of cases of varying complexity, including cases involving severe injuries (such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and deaths). Nik and JJ get results. Several of their cases have ended in client recoveries of more than one million dollars. On many occasions, they have successfully litigated claims against defendants that are among most vigorously defended, including insurance companies, large corporations, governmental entities, and major manufacturers.

In the Beginning

Nik Armitage and JJ Thompson were both raised in Eastern Washington - Nik grew up in Spokane Valley and JJ in the small town of Tekoa, just south of Spokane. Rivals before they ever met, Nik completed his undergraduate education at the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!) and JJ completed his undergraduate education at Washington State University (Go Cougs!). Nik's and JJ's paths finally crossed when they attended Gonzaga University School of Law, where they became close friends.
