Our firm is led by Attorney Scott F. Hess, who grew up in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. He attended Franklin Pierce College, where he obtained a degree in Psychology. After college, Hess went on to pursue his law degree at Western New England College School of Law. During law school, Hess was a member of the Rendigs National Product Liability Moot Court Team, clerked for the Honorable Kenneth Cote of the Holyoke District Court, and volunteered with Western Massachusetts Legal Services. He also participated on the trial team and was a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic during his last year in law school. Hess graduated cum laude from Western New England in 2009.

After law school, Hess started a law firm with another recent graduate. In 2010, he moved his practice to Augusta and later joined a firm in the mid-coast. In early 2014, Hess returned to his practice in Augusta, where he has been serving clients ever since. Our firm's primary areas of practice include OUI/DUI, criminal law, family law, personal injury, and appellate advocacy.
