About Us

Founded in 2001, Watercourse Engineering, Inc. has completed over 150 projects in the field of water resources planning and management. Our team is comprised of experts with graduate degrees and many are licensed engineers in the state of California. We maintain close ties with the University of California and various federal, state, and local agencies.

Our Team

Our team of experts includes industry leaders such as Michael L. Deas, Ph. D., P.E., who has over 25 years of professional experience in the field of water quality monitoring, modeling, and analysis. Stacy K. Tanaka, Ph. D., P.E., has over 14 years of experience in the field of water resources planning and modeling, and Jennifer C. Vaughn, M.S., has over 15 years of experience in the field of water quality monitoring, modeling, and analysis. Other team members include Ibrahim E. Sogutlugil, M.S., P.E., Peggy O. Basdekas, M.S., and Brooke N. Mejica, M.S.
