The DuraGlaze Process

Our process begins with ensuring that the entire surface is completely clean. We then apply an acid to etch the surface finish, which opens up microscopic fissures in the original surface. This allows our adhesive primer to penetrate into the surface and create a strong mechanical bond. We repair any significant chips, pitted areas, or scratches and apply the bonding agent to increase the adhesion between your tub and the new finish. After that, we apply the new finish using a High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) application system. This ensures a smooth and even finish that will last for years to come.
