Playhouse Preschool Kindergarten & First Grade

Playhouse School has been a trusted and respected private pre-school and early elementary school in Torrance, California since 1972, dedicated to teaching children to love learning. Our Programs

Our balanced Early Childhood Education program includes a comprehensive curriculum that encompasses language arts, reading and math readiness, music, creative art experiences, dramatic play, motor development, and physical fitness, as well as natural science and field trips. We also provide hot, balanced lunches and two snacks daily. Our facilities feature air-conditioned classrooms, completely fenced grounds and play areas, and well-equipped classrooms.

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

In addition to our general program, our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs focus on developing reading skills, including phonics and math, as well as science studies and creative dramatics. Our First Grade program further develops reading skills, including phonics and spelling exercises, and continues activities in math, science, music, art, drama, and social studies.

Limited Enrollment
