By correcting these misalignments and restoring proper nerve flow, chiropractors help individuals enjoy more of their full potential for health.
The Activator Methods Technique
Activator Methods is a highly effective, safe, and gentle technique that uses a small, handheld instrument called an Activator. This technique is perfect for patients of all ages, from children to seniors. It is especially beneficial for patients who may not be able to receive traditional chiropractic adjustments due to conditions such as arthritis, degeneration, and osteoporosis. The gentle thrust delivered by the Activator is so quick that the patient's muscles are less likely to tighten and resist the adjustment, resulting in a more precise and exact adjustment.
Our Approach
At Gentle Care Chiropractic, we believe in a patient-centered approach. Dr. McConnell takes the time to thoroughly review each patient's history and perform a detailed exam to determine if chiropractic care can help. She will then review the findings with the patient and discuss the expected results.
Our Doctor
Dr. Amy McConnell is originally from Glastonbury, Connecticut. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology from Villanova University. She continued her education at Life University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. McConnell is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and participates with ChiroHealthUSA to make chiropractic care more accessible and affordable for patients and families. She is also a participating provider with Medicare.
