Suntides Golf Course

Nestled in a small valley just northwest of Yakima in central Washington, Suntides is a golf course that offers a unique and serene golfing experience. Surrounded by residential homes, fruit orchards, the Naches river, and nearby rock cliffs inscribed with ancient Indian petroglyphs, Suntides is more than just a golf course - it's a destination.

The Suntides 18-hole course at the facility in Yakima, Washington features 5,941 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course has a rating of 66.4 and a slope rating of 110 on Blue grass, making it both challenging and enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. Designed by Joe Greer and opened in 1965, Suntides is managed by Paul Cobleigh, PGA, who ensures that the course is well-maintained and provides an exceptional golfing experience.

Located just 3 miles northwest of Yakima on Highway 12, Suntides Golf Course is an 18-hole par-70 public course with complete clubhouse facilities. Open from daylight to dark, 7 days a week, Suntides is one of the best places to play golf in all of Central Washington.

Our golf shop is full of up-to-date merchandise from all major companies. Whether you need new clubs, balls, or accessories, our golf shop has got you covered. We also carry a range of clothing from brands such as Adidas, Nike, Antigua, Footjoy, and Jamie Sadock. If you need a custom order, our staff will be happy to help. Just give us a call!

We offer a range of membership options to suit your needs. Our Annual Memberships include Single, Couple, Students (18 - 27 years old), and Juniors (17 years old and under) options. We also offer Punch Cards for 9 or 18 holes, which can be used at any time. Our Memberships and Punch Cards offer great value and make it easy to enjoy regular rounds of golf at Suntides.

Services

At Suntides Golf Course, we offer a range of services to ensure that your golfing experience is enjoyable and hassle-free. Our Tour Edge Club Rental service allows you to rent clubs for just $25, and our Golf Cart Storage and Rental services ensure that you have easy access to a golf cart when you need it.

We also offer Golf Lessons with our Teaching Professionals JR Mercer or Paul Cobleigh P.G.A. for just $75/hour (packages available). Whether you're a beginner or an experienced golfer, our Golf Lessons can help you improve your game and enjoy your time on the course even more.

Golf Course Info

Launched in 1963, Suntides Golf Course was formed by a group of local investors. 110 acres of the Stan Pence Homestead dairy farm was purchased and the course construction began. Nine holes were finished in the spring of 1964 with the second nine completed in 1965. Since then, Suntides has been the choice among golfers, with its friendly atmosphere and welcoming atmosphere making it a popular destination for golfers of all abilities. We are a second generation, family-owned and operated business, and our mom & pop style creates a comfortable setting for all to enjoy. We host many competitions for golfers to compete in, with generous payouts, making Suntides the perfect place for both casual and competitive golfers.
