History and Legacy

Villa Chanticleer's rich history began in the early 1900s as a private estate for the Haggarty family. During World War II, the villa served as a rehabilitation center for injured soldiers. After the war, the property was purchased by the city of Healdsburg and transformed into a public park and event venue. Today, we continue to honor our legacy as a beloved landmark in Healdsburg, preserving our historic charm while offering a versatile space for various occasions.
