Our Story
Silver Lake Ballroom is located in the historic Hunter Building, which was built in 1931. Our venue is a testament to the rich history of Shreveport, and we are proud to be a part of the city's downtown revitalization. Our owner, Martha Rice Russell, is a Shreveport native who wanted to pay homage to the city's heritage while providing a unique and elegant event space.
