We're not just creating great athletes; we're developing better kids.
Welcome to the Ocean State School of Gymnastics Center, where our mission is to make kids' lives better by developing responsible, self-confident, and physically fit individuals using gymnastics as the vehicle. We are proud to be Rhode Island's oldest and most professional gymnastics facility, with over 44 years of experience in developing great athletes and better kids. Our story began in 1980, when we opened our first gym at 2352 Mendon Road in Cumberland. Since then, we have expanded to become one of the country's oldest clubs, with multiple locations to serve our community.
Our family-owned business is now in its second generation of ownership, with a rich history that dates back to 1960. Our involvement in the sport goes all the way back to the national level, and we have evolved to become the leading gymnastics facility that focuses on child development. Our expertise lies in creating a consistent, professional, and fun atmosphere for all our programs. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop their skills.
Our programs cater to children of all ages, from toddlers to adults, offering a range of activities including open workouts, summer camps, teams, and tramp and tumble events. We also host birthday parties and events, making us the perfect destination for fun and entertainment. Our staff is composed of nationally rated coaches and senior staff who are all safety certified by USA Gymnastics, Inc.
At the Ocean State School of Gymnastics, we believe that gymnastics is not just about creating great athletes but also about developing better kids. We strive to provide an educational, physically enhancing, and fun experience for every child who walks through our doors. If you are looking for a place where your child can grow, learn, and thrive, then look no further. Join us today and become part of our gymnastics family!
