Our Story

At TalkBack Inc., our journey began in 2003 with a mission to provide quality speech and language therapy services to children. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our services to include speech, language, and feeding therapy in the Tri-cities and surrounding areas of East Tennessee. We have also opened offices in Johnson City and Kingsport, and established an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinic to provide quality pediatric ABA therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Our Team

Our team of highly trained and licensed therapists consists of Occupational Therapists (OT), Physical Therapists (PT), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). Our staff is dedicated to providing individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each child. We take pride in being a team of professionals who work closely with each other, the family, and any involved physicians to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services, including speech, language, and feeding therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Our services are designed to help children with various developmental delays or challenges, such as Apraxia, autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and sensory processing disorder. We also provide therapy services in a natural setting, such as the child's home, daycare, or school, as well as in our own offices.

Parental Involvement

We believe that parental involvement is crucial to a child's success. Our therapists work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure that home programs are in place to help each child reach their maximum potential. We encourage parents to participate in therapy sessions and to continue therapy techniques at home.
