Botsford Surveying was formed in 2002, but our family roots in surveying have operated continuously from the 1800s to now, giving us a strong local knowledge and history of surveying in the county and surrounding regions. We have the experience and knowledge to handle your project quickly, accurately and professionally. Our diverse, well-seasoned staff brings a combined 100 years of experience in surveying. Warning to Landowners Regarding the Use of the On X Hunt Phone App

We would like to warn landowners regarding the use of the On X Hunt phone app. The On X Hunt app is not a surveying app - it is a reference and hunting tool. The database that On X Hunt and similar programs use to generate their property line information was created in an office and not from actual survey data. The county tax assessment data was generated in the same way. It was created for assessment and reference purposes only, and is not actual survey data! Boundary lines can only be marked properly using conventional surveying or survey-grade GPS equipment by a licensed professional.
