Our History

With over 27 years of experience, Westchester Dance Academy has established itself as one of the leading dance studios in New York. Initially founded in 1997 as the Westchester Performing Arts Center, the studio has undergone transformations, renamed to Westchester Dance Academy (WDA) in 2002, and relocated to its current location in 2008. Throughout the years, our commitment to providing exceptional dance education and training has remained unwavering.

Our Faculty

Our esteemed faculty comprises experienced dance instructors with extensive professional training. Gemma Beasley, our ballet, contemporary, jazz, and tap instructor, holds certifications from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and has performed in various musicals and contemporary dance companies. Patrick Daniel, our contemporary, lyrical, and jazz instructor, has performed with renowned companies such as Stacey Tookey's Still Motion Dance Company and has choreographed for professional and pre-professional students. Victoria DeAndrea-Young, our young children dance program instructor, has been with Westchester Dance Academy since its inception and has taught ballet, tap, and jazz to young students.
