Darwin Webb, the founder of Darwin Webb Landscape Architects, carries a deep appreciation for the natural world, stemming from his childhood spent exploring the beaches and forests of Vashon Island. His love for outdoor adventures, pursuits such as skiing, sailing, backpacking, and climbing, instilled in him a profound respect for the grandeur and fragility of the environment.

Graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Landscape Architecture from Washington State University in 1986, Darwin honed his craft at two prominent Seattle-area landscape firms. Driven by his passion for creating beautiful and functional gardens, he established Darwin Webb Landscape Architects in 1999.

Darwin's design philosophy is rooted in a thoughtful integration of the built and natural environments. He believes that a well-designed landscape should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also serve the needs and aspirations of its occupants. When away from the design studio, Darwin enjoys chasing powder snow in the winter, casting a fly in his favorite stream, and spending quality time with friends and family at his beachfront cabin in the San Juan Islands.
