Our History
Established in 1869 as Commercial Book Store, CBF has undergone significant transformations over the years. In 1952, Ray Gotchall joined the company and later took over in 1992, introducing his son Steve to the business. In 2013, Ray and Steve began their retirement process, and we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to purchase CBF, which became a reality on January 1st, 2014. Today, CBF is a woman-owned LLC and a family-run business, with Katy Mizer, sole proprietor, and her husband, Dale, who bring over 30 years of combined experience in office furniture sales, design, space planning, manufacturing, and ergonomics.
