Our Story

Rasa Caffe was founded in 2013 by Rasa Mott, who was inspired by his two formative years spent living in India. It was during this time that he had the opportunity to experience the rich and diverse culinary culture of India, which sparked his idea to merge these flavors with classic Western standards. Rasa has a deep-rooted passion for the culinary arts and has worked in kitchens across the United States and internationally in Thailand. He holds a Culinary Arts Management Degree from the New York Restaurant School/Art Institute and has achieved a Master Sensory Flavor & Tasting Certification (CMT) from Chef's Best of San Francisco.
