Our founder, Kate Reilly, has a deep passion for animals and people, which led her to pursue a career in pet sitting and dog walking. With a B.S. in Biology, focusing on animal behavior, from the University of Kansas, Kate has extensive experience in wildlife rehabilitation and working with various animal species at the Kansas City Zoo. Her experience with a Denver non-profit organization, where she specialized in passing legislation to protect animals and the environment, further honed her skills and dedication to animal welfare.

With years of hands-on experience with her own pets, including dogs, guinea pigs, turtles, lizards, and currently, two cats, Kate understands the importance of gentle care and love for all animals. At Calico Pet Sitting, Ltd., we strive to provide the same level of care and love that pets receive from their own families, ensuring that you and your pets have the best experience possible.

Services & Rates

At Calico Pet Sitting, Ltd., we understand that no two homes or pets are exactly alike. Therefore, we offer a wide variety of services to precisely fit your needs. Whether you need a quick 30-minute dog walk, an overnight stay with a midday walk, or anything in between, we have you covered.

• Dog Walking: Our dog walking services start at $21 for a 30-minute walk. We'll take your dog on a walk, play in the yard, and give them some extra love and attention. We also offer 45 and 60-minute options for dogs who need a little more exercise or attention.

• Pet Sitting: For pets who need a bit more care, our pet sitting services start at $25 per visit. Whether you're going out of town or just out for the night, we'll take care of your cat, dog, or pocket pet by providing medicine, food, a quick potty break, or a litter box scoop and play session. Additionally, we'll bring in your mail, take out the trash, water a few indoor plants, and rotate the blinds at no extra charge. For dogs, we require a minimum of three pet sitting visits per day, and for cats, we require at least two visits per day to ensure their health and safety.

• Overnight + Midday Walk: Starting at $95 per night, our overnight pet sitting service provides total peace of mind for your pets and home. Your sitter will arrive no later than 8 pm and stay until at least 7 am the next morning. Additionally, we come back for a 30-minute midday visit to give your pet a walk or some playtime.

• Nail Trimming: Does your pet need a quick nail or claw trim? We're here for you! Our nail trimming service is just $10.

• Pet Taxi: We will be happy to transport your pet to the veterinarian, groomer, trainer, or doggie daycare and stay for as long as needed. Our pet taxi service starts at $30 per 30 minutes.
