B.F. Environmental Consultants, based in Northeastern Pennsylvania and the Poconos region, has been providing professional geological, soils, and hydrogeological environmental consulting services since 1985. Our team specializes in various areas, including hydrogeological and wastewater evaluations for siting land-based wastewater disposal systems, soils consulting, environmental monitoring, and overseeing the siting, exploration, and development of community/commercial water supply sources. We also offer environmental training and professional training courses. Our services are designed to address a wide range of environmental concerns and needs.

Our Services

We conduct soil, hydrogeological, and wastewater evaluations for siting individual and community wastewater disposal systems, including evaluations related to updating Wastewater Management Plans and Act 26 developments. Our team also conducts sanitary surveys and oversees the siting, exploration, and development of new community/commercial water supply sources as part of Developing Source Water Protection Plans. We develop, conduct, and interpret the results of surface and groundwater quality monitoring programs, related to water supply development, contaminant migration, or geochemical analysis. Additionally, we perform soils evaluations, infiltration testing, hydroconductivity testing, and determine optimal loading and application rates for spray and drip irrigation wastewater disposal and groundwater recharge systems. Detailed hydrogeological studies are also conducted as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) and other regulatory agencies.
