Our History

The Appleton Yacht Club has a rich history dating back to 1932, when it was founded by six men who shared a passion for boating. The club's early days were marked by a strong focus on promoting and fostering the spirit of boating, as well as encouraging harmony and good fellowship among its members. Over the years, the club has undergone several transformations, including the rebuilding of its clubhouse after a devastating fire in 1937 and another fire in 1947. Despite these challenges, the club continued to grow and expand, adding new facilities and amenities. Today, the Appleton Yacht Club is a beloved institution in the community, offering a unique and exclusive experience for its members.
