Providence Country Day School

Providence Country Day School is a private, co-educational day school located in Rhode Island, serving students from PreK to 12th grade. Our mission is to provide a rigorous and well-rounded education that prepares our students for success in college and beyond. Our History and Values

PCD has a rich history that dates back to 1923, and we take pride in our tradition of excellence. Our Programs

We offer a comprehensive range of programs and services to support our students' academic, social, and emotional growth. Our Lower School program is designed for students in PreK to 5th grade, and provides a foundation in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Our Middle School program serves students in 6th to 8th grade, and builds on the skills and knowledge acquired in the Lower School. Our Upper School program is designed for students in 9th to 12th grade, and prepares them for college and beyond.

College Counseling

Our College Counseling program is designed to support our students as they navigate the college application process. Our experienced counselors work closely with our students to identify their strengths and interests, and help them develop a personalized college plan that aligns with their goals and aspirations.

Student Life

At PCD, we believe that education should be a holistic experience that extends beyond the classroom. Our students have access to a range of extracurricular activities, including athletics, arts, and community service. We encourage our students to explore their passions and interests, and develop their talents and skills.
