At Superior Structural Corporation, we are a family-owned and operated business with over 50 years of experience in fabricating structural steel trusses, heavy-duty steel machine bases, and structural steel platforms. Our expertise also extends to fabricating custom ornamental railings, hand railings, decorative ornamental gates, trash gate frames, ladders, spiral staircases, steel stairways, mezzanines, and catwalks. Additionally, we provide joist and deck material and employ skilled ironworkers to erect all of our products.

Our company was founded in September 1969 by Heinrich J. J. Hofmann and Clyde Minor, who initially produced ornamental and balcony railings out of a two-car garage. As the business grew, it moved to an empty building in Waterford, Wisconsin, and eventually, in 1974, Mr. Hofmann built the company's current 28,000 square foot plant on West Lincoln Avenue in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

Over the years, we have expanded our product line to include ladders, stairs, fire escapes, and light structural steel. In 1983, the company's name was changed to Superior Structural Corporation as a result of its successful growth and diversification. Since 1972, the company has been privately owned and operated by the Hofmann family. In 1993, Mr. Hofmann passed away, leaving it to his wife, Renate E. Hofmann, and their three children.
