New Day Pro Counseling

At New Day Professional Counseling, Inc., we believe that every individual who seeks therapy has made a courageous decision to learn more about their condition. We understand that asking for help and taking the first step can be challenging. Our staff is committed to helping clients take charge and create the desired healthy outcomes in behavior and discover the road to recovery. Our philosophy is centered around the idea that life can be determined by a series of choices made between birth and death, but those choices do not have to define our lives. We support and encourage self-discovery through making choices and believe that every day is a new day for opportunities for personal growth and discovery.

Services Offered

We offer a range of services including a 26 Week Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program, Professional Counseling Services, and DWI/DUI Educational Services. Our 12-Hour DWI/DUI Educational Services are certified by the State of Maryland and are designed for first-time offenders. We also provide Individual Counseling, Outpatient Treatment, and Intensive Outpatient Treatment. Our professional staff includes clinicians in the field of Mental Health, Alcohol and Substance, Pastoral Counseling, Marriage & Family Counseling, and are licensed through the State of Maryland.

Our Founder

Chrystal E. Johnson, MA LPC, is the Founder and Executive Director of New Day Professional Counseling, Inc. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Pastoral Counseling from Family Bible Seminary and University and her Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Chrystal is passionate about applying best practice models to bring about healing, wholeness, and operational excellence to the counseling setting. She is a member of the National Association of Christian Counselors (NCCA), American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and a member of Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors of Maryland (LCPCM).
