At Mabe Trucking, we take pride in being an award-winning trucking company based in Eden, North Carolina. Our story began over three decades ago, when our founder, Roger (Butch) D. Mabe Jr, turned his childhood fascination with trucking into a successful business venture.

Our History

Butch's interest in trucking started when he was just a teenager, influenced by his grandfather and uncle who were truck drivers. His father, Roger D. Mabe Sr, purchased two tractors with Butch's grandfather and leased them to other trucking companies, laying the foundation for what would become Mabe Trucking Co., Inc. Over the years, our company has grown to become one of the largest employers in Eden, North Carolina, with over 300 employees and a fleet of 200 tractors and 600 trailers.
