At Northstar Property Management, we take pride in being a locally-based property management company in Greenwood, South Carolina. Founded in 2015, our mission is to serve property owners and tenants alike through superior customer service and optimized online tools that provide ease in transactions and communication.

Our Story

Our company was established by Jake and Kim Chapman, who brought a combined 20+ years of experience in customer service, business, and information technology to the company. Jake is a licensed Property Manager in Charge in the state of South Carolina and has a background in customer service and firefighting. Kim holds an MBA and serves the community in the healthcare industry, while also managing the finances, communications, and technology for Northstar.

Our Services

At Northstar Property Management, we offer a range of services designed to meet the needs of both property owners and tenants. Our residential property management services include:

  • Property Management: We provide management solutions for residential properties, handling tasks such as rent collection, maintenance coordination, and financial reporting.
  • Leasing Solutions: We also offer leasing solutions for property owners who prefer to manage their properties themselves. This service includes handling evictions, listing and filling vacancies, and handling applicant screening and leasing paperwork.

Online Tools

We utilize online tools to streamline our services and make it easier for our clients to manage their properties. These tools include:

  • Online Applications: Tenants can complete online applications and eSignatures for leasing.
  • Online Payments: Tenants can pay rent online and access their payment history.
  • Online Work Orders: Tenants can submit work orders and track their status.

Owner Portal

We provide an Owner Portal where property owners can:
