Our Services

At our orthopedic practice, we believe in providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient. Our services are designed to help you recover from injuries and conditions affecting your musculoskeletal system, and to help you regain full function and mobility.

Total Joint Replacement & Reconstruction

Sometimes the best way to relieve pain and restore function to a joint is to replace all or part of it with a prosthesis (an artificial joint). Prostheses are intended to restore function to the joint and relieve pain associated with arthritis, other chronic conditions, or traumatic injury.

Spinal Disorder Treatment

A herniated disc, also referred to as a bulging, ruptured or slipped disc, is one that protrudes into the spinal canal and applies pressure to a nerve root. A herniated lumbar disc can cause pain in the back and all the way down the legs and feet. About 90% of herniated discs occur in the lumbar spine.

Sports Medicine

Sports medicine is a sub-specialty of orthopedics that deals with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries suffered during athletic activity. The goal of treatment is to heal and rehabilitate the injury so patients can return to their favorite activities quickly, whether it's playing a sport, going for a run, or simply enjoying time with family and friends.

Arthroscopic Surgery

Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows doctors to diagnose and sometimes treat joint injuries and disease through small incisions in the skin. It is often performed to confirm a diagnosis made after a physical examination and other imaging tests such as MRI, CT or X-rays. During arthroscopy, a fiberoptic scope is inserted into the joint through a small incision, allowing the surgeon to view the joint and surrounding tissues.

Arthritis

Arthritis is a group of conditions that causes pain and damage to the joints of the human body, mostly targeting the cartilage that protects the bones. As the cartilage is removed, the bones start to rub against each other more often, producing friction and further degradation and pain. The definitive cause of arthritis is still unknown, but it is often associated with aging, obesity, joint trauma, and genetic predisposition.

Knee & Hip Surgery

The knees are the strongest joint in the human body, allowing the legs to bend and straighten while carrying almost all of the weight of the individual when they are standing. The knees are a hinge joint, but still have substantial capacity for lateral (side-to-side) motion. As an active weight-bearing joint, the knee is more likely to suffer wear and tear, leading to conditions such as osteoarthritis, which can cause pain and stiffness in the knee.

Shoulder Surgery

The shoulder is a "ball-and-socket" joint made up of the upper arm bone (humerus), shoulder blade (scapula) and collarbone (clavicle). This joint is the most flexible one in the body and allows for a full range of motion, but also makes the shoulder a common source of injury and instability. Some of the most common conditions affecting the shoulder include rotator cuff tears, shoulder impingement, and shoulder instability.

Fracture Care

A fracture is a break or crack in a bone that occurs when the bone cannot withstand outside forces, often as a result of trauma or disease. Fracture, break and crack all refer to the same thing. Fractures can range from simple hairline cracks in the bone to complex breaks that require surgical repair.

Pediatric & Adolescent Orthopedics

Our pediatric and adolescent orthopedic services are designed to address the unique needs of young patients. We understand that children's bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments are still growing and developing, and require specialized care to ensure proper healing and growth.

Worker's Compensation Injuries

We provide comprehensive care for workers' compensation injuries, including diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. Our goal is to help injured workers recover from their injuries and return to work as soon as possible.
