Here at Hilo Ocean Adventures, we are a family-owned dive shop located on the Northeast side of the Big Island. Our mission is to provide a unique and unforgettable experience for all our customers. Our Services

Swim School & Summer Camp

Our Keiki swim lessons are designed for children aged six months and up. With up to 20 lessons, our expert instructors will guide your child to become confident in the water. We also offer summer camps that combine swimming lessons with outdoor activities, providing a fun and engaging experience for your little ones.

Scuba Diving & Snorkeling

For the more adventurous, we offer scuba diving certifications through our PADI courses. From Open Water Diver to Advanced Open Water Diver, our certified instructors will guide you every step of the way. We also offer guided snorkeling tours to some of the most secluded and pristine locations on the Big Island.

Kayaking & SUP

Get ready to paddle your way through the tranquil waters of Wailoa River and explore the stunning scenery of Hilo Bay and Coconut Island. Our kayaking and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) rentals are available for daily excursions or for those who want to explore at their own pace.

Fishing Charters

For the fishing enthusiasts, we offer private deep sea fishing charters and rentals. Our experienced captains will take you to the best fishing spots to reel in the big catch. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner, our charters are designed to provide an unforgettable experience.

Community & Culture

At Hilo Ocean Adventures, we believe in fostering a sense of community and cultural responsibility. Our dive shop is sponsored by the Hilo Dive Club, providing a platform for divers to connect, share stories, and explore the underwater world.
