Barhite Excavating

Barhite Excavating is a family-owned business that has been operating for over 40 years. Our founder, Marty Bahite, started this business in the mid-1960s with two machines and a logging truck. In the beginning, he would log in the winter and bulldoze in the summer. Over the years, he has taken on a wide variety of jobs, including ponds, driveways, foundations, septic systems, township roads, and trails for Elk Mountain.

As the years went by, Marty's sons began to take an interest in the family business. Today, in 2006, Marty and his sons, Martin, Michael, and Tyler, continue to run the business together, ensuring that every effort is made to meet the customer's satisfaction.
