Dansville Sign Company, Inc. has been a staple in the signage industry since its inception in 1950 by Don Nice and Art Vanderwerken. The company started by creating the entrance signs for the town of Dansville, and although the team has evolved over the years, the commitment to quality and craftsmanship has remained the same. Originally named Dansville Sign Company, the business was later renamed Custom Craft Signs as it transitioned from hand lettering to vinyl and 3-dimensional signage. In 2016, the company returned to its roots by incorporating and reverting back to the original name, Dansville Sign Co., Inc.

Currently in its third generation of Nice family leadership, the company has over 68 years of experience servicing the businesses and people of the surrounding area. Nancy Nice, the daughter of Don Nice, took over the business in 1992 and has since expanded the company's capabilities to include antique lettering, neon/LED signage, restorations, and more. In 2016, Nancy's nephew, Lucus, joined the company, continuing the family legacy.
