Bacon Group, Inc., a general practice architectural firm, has been delivering high-quality design services for over two decades. Established in 1991 by Richard S. Bacon, the firm is headquartered in Palm Harbor, Pinellas County, in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Our team of experienced design professionals is dedicated to providing exceptional services to public, corporate, and individual clients, with the majority of our work derived from the public sector, particularly municipalities, county governments, special districts, and public and private not-for-profit providers of community services.

Bacon Group's team has more than 30 years of experience designing animal care facilities, including animal control, humane services, and veterinary clinics. Our portfolio includes the design of shelters, kennels, and animal hospitals, and we are committed to creating functional, healthy environments for animals. • Atlanta Humane Society: Mansell Campus Renovation, which nearly doubled their adoptions within six months of opening.
• Miami-Dade County Animal Services: Pet Adoption and Protection Center, which nearly doubled the capacity for cat housing and drew more attention to those cats, helping them find forever homes.
• Pasco County Technology Center, a project that won an Outstanding Project of the Year award from the USGBC Florida Gulf Coast Chapter.
• Jacksonville Humane Society: Community Animal Hospital, which helped decrease the euthanasia rate by 78%.
• Chesapeake Animal Services, which increased adoptions by 29% from September 2012 to September 2013.
