Little Beavers Preschool

Our Story

For nearly five decades, Little Beavers Preschool has been committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children in the Corvallis community. Founded in 1973 by Al and Jan East, our preschool has grown from a small, family-owned business to a respected institution in early childhood education. Our founders' vision was to create a preschool where children could learn and grow in a loving and supportive environment, and that vision has remained unchanged.

Our Mission

At Little Beavers Preschool, we believe that early childhood education is the foundation upon which a child's educational journey is built. Our mission is to provide a high-quality early childhood education program that fosters a love of learning, creativity, and critical thinking. We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs tailored to meet the unique needs and developmental stages of our young students. Our programs are designed to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and include:

• Infant Program: For children aged two months to one year, our infant program focuses on nurturing and stimulating their senses, providing a loving and comfortable environment for their early development.
• Toddlers Program: For children aged two to three years, our toddlers program is designed to foster their curiosity and creativity, with activities that promote socialization, problem-solving, and cognitive development.
• Preschool Program: For children aged three to five years, our preschool program is designed to prepare them for kindergarten, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Our Staff

Our teaching staff are dedicated professionals who are passionate about early childhood education. They are supported by a team of assistant teachers and administrative staff who work together to provide a seamless and nurturing environment for our students. Our teachers are:

• CPR/First Aid certified
• Oregon Food Handler's certified
• Registered in the Criminal History Registry
• Carefully chosen and selected for their expertise and passion for early childhood education
• Required to complete annual continuing education and training
