Heart of Healing Therapeutic Medical Massage, LLC is a Sedona-based massage therapy center that has been serving the Verde Valley community since 1991. Founded by Candace Beringer, L.M.T., the center is built on a deep passion for helping people find relief from pain, continue injury rehabilitation, and de-stress through relaxation. Our mission is to provide restorative and palliative care to those with chronic conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Parkinson's disease, as well as to offer a range of advanced massage therapy techniques for everyone.

Candace Beringer is a licensed massage therapist who has been in the healing arts field since 1984. She began her career with a pre-med orientation and quickly discovered her passion for healing modalities that work without surgery or drugs. She then pursued post-graduate work in Sports Physiology & Nutrition and began designing corporate and one-to-one fitness and wellness programs. To deepen her understanding of Body/Mind healing, she returned to Mueller College of Wholistic Studies and explored other healing paths. Today, she is trained in a variety of healing modalities, including Acupressure, Deep Tissue Healing Massage, Medical Massage, Physiotherapy, Sports & Lymph Massage, Emotional Clearing, Reiki, Stretching, Movement, and Personalized Fitness & Nutrition Programs, Herbs, Guided Imagery, Energy Management, and Color Therapy.

At Heart of Healing Therapeutic Medical Massage, LLC, we offer a range of specialized bodywork modalities, many of which have been learned over 25 years of private practice. These modalities include Trigger Point Therapy, Manual Lymph Drainage, Acupressure, CranioSacral, Reiki, Gentle Deep Tissue, Hydrotherapies (hot and cold), and more. We believe that each client is unique and requires a personalized approach to healing. As such, we blend and synthesize these modalities for each client, incorporating advice, direction, encouragement, and sound support to help them remember and be re-inspired to take care of themselves.

• Acupressure: We use acupressure to stimulate the body's natural healing abilities. This technique involves applying pressure to specific points on the body to release blocked energy and promote healing.
• CranioSacral: We use craniosacral therapy to relax the nervous system and promote healing. This technique involves gentle manipulation of the bones in the skull and spine to release tension and promote relaxation.
• Reiki: We use reiki to promote healing on all levels of the body, mind, and spirit. This technique involves the transfer of energy from the practitioner to the client to promote relaxation and healing.
• Gentle Deep Tissue: We use gentle deep tissue massage to release tension and promote healing. This technique involves deep tissue massage with a gentle touch to promote relaxation and healing.
• Hydrotherapies (hot and cold): We use hydrotherapy to promote healing and relaxation. This technique involves the use of hot and cold water to stimulate the circulatory system and promote healing.

In addition to these modalities, we also offer uterine repositioning and other advanced techniques to address specific health concerns.
