At Conundrum Theatre Company, we are passionate about creating opportunities for working professionals who are passionate about participating in high-quality, professional shows. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre company based in Burbank, California, we strive to develop the potential of actors, writers, and directors who have a passion for the performing arts.

Our Mission

Our mission is to generate opportunities for experienced actors with traditional day jobs to create, produce, and perform in innovative, high-quality theatrical productions in Los Angeles County while building a collaborative, diverse community of writers and actors. We aim to produce classic, contemporary, and lesser-known musicals with innovative casting to create an inclusive, exciting, and affordable experience for actors and audience members. We also seek out, cultivate, and produce original plays and musicals from Southern California artists, and offer educational workshops and classes in acting, singing, dancing, directing, and more.

Production Highlights

Our current production, Legally Blonde, is a hilarious and heartwarming musical that tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority sister who goes to Harvard Law to get her boyfriend back, and ends up defying expectations while staying true to herself. We are also excited to announce our upcoming production of Piano Nites, a unique and engaging musical event that brings together some of the most talented pianists and performers in the industry.

Community Engagement

At Conundrum Theatre Company, we are committed to giving back to our community. That's why we offer a range of community engagement programs, including our Monthly Free Headshot Giveaway, which provides an opportunity for non-professional actors to get a professional headshot at no cost. We also offer educational workshops and classes, which are designed to be accessible and affordable for individuals of all skill levels and backgrounds.
