Massage Therapy Programs

Our flagship program is the Massage Therapy Certification program, which is certified and accredited by the State of Michigan. This program provides students with a comprehensive education in massage therapy, including hands-on training in various massage techniques. The program is designed to be completed in 10 months and includes coursework in anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology, and business practices. Students who complete the program are eligible to sit for the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) and become licensed massage therapists.

In addition to our certification program, we offer a range of continuing education workshops that complement and enhance massage therapy skills. These workshops cover a variety of topics, including hot stone massage, aromatherapy, ethics, reflexology, and Reiki. These workshops are approved by the State of Michigan and provide students with the opportunity to earn continuing education credits.

Financial Aid

Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage participates in the Pell Grant program and three Federal Direct Loan programs. Financial aid is available to eligible students who demonstrate financial need. We are committed to making our programs accessible to all students, regardless of their financial circumstances.
