Because You Care - We Care
Established in 1980, Valley Pastoral Counseling Center is a non-profit interfaith and interdenominational pastoral counseling center providing spiritually sensitive psychotherapy for the mental health needs of our community. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the community by being a leader in providing quality, cost-effective mental and spiritual healthcare through counseling, training, consultation, and prevention.
Our philosophy is centered around providing counseling services to individuals of all ages, couples, families, and groups with a full range of emotional and spiritual concerns. We strive to respond to inquiries for services within 24 hours of your initial contact and coordinate our care with local physicians, psychiatrists, and hospitals when necessary. Additionally, we offer consultation and educational services to congregations and other organizations.
At Valley Pastoral Counseling Center, we honor your religious orientation and welcome individuals from all spiritual backgrounds. Our pastoral counselors are trained to provide services to clients with varied spiritual orientations and religious views, as well as those who identify as spiritual but not religious. We also provide mental health services to the community at large.
Our services include assistance with loss, death, and grief, depression, anxiety, pastoral counseling, relationship problems, life stage transitions, personal growth, and clergy issues. We offer a range of therapies such as Trauma-Informed Therapy, EMDR, CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Imago Therapy. Our core values emphasize the importance of the relationship between the client and therapist, believing that a safe, secure, and confidential relationship is essential for healing and growth.
