Our History

The Snider Group was founded in 1964 by Leo Andrade and operated under the name of Andrade Construction until 1989. In October 1989, Steve Snider purchased the Corporation and in June of 1991, the name was changed to The Snider Group Inc. Throughout our history, we have remained committed to providing the highest possible standard of quality and service, giving our customers the best satisfaction.

• Earthwork: With a fleet of earth hauling pieces and a full complement of support dozers, compactors, rollers, and discs, we are capable of excavating and compacting large quantities of earth in short timeframes.
• Underground Construction: We install a full array of utilities from sub-surface drainage systems and dry utility conduit to laying sewers in excess of 30 feet in depth.
• Curb: We bring generations of experience and expertise in the placement of strong and well-finished curb that has smooth grade transitions and clean lines.
• Box Culverts and Three-Sided Structures: We have adopted a fast, efficient method to install these structures that expedites the backfill process and limits environmental risks often associated with these installations.
• Erosion Control: Controlling erosion is a vital aspect of nearly all of our operations, using mechanical best management practices along with temporary and permanent seeding.
• Clearing: We utilize our Morbark 6600 horizontal grinder to complete land clearing jobs efficiently and effectively.
