Dr. Shapiro's Qualifications

Dr. Shapiro is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, which means he has passed a rigorous written and oral exam and demonstrated a high degree of skill and knowledge in the art and science of periodontology. He has extensive education and training, including a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and post-graduate training in Periodontology at Tufts University. He has been practicing since 1991 and is an esteemed member of several dental organizations.
