Machining

At Herman Manufacturing, we offer a wide range of machining services to meet your needs. From prototype to production parts, our experienced machinists use our extensive variety of mills and lathes to produce parts with outstanding accuracy and repeatability. We have the capabilities to handle both small and large projects, with boring mills that have long travel capacities and a vertical lathe equipped with a 2 axis hydraulic tracer. Our machining capabilities are extensive, and we have access to excellent sources for heat treat, plating, anodizing, black oxidizing, and more. If painting or abrasive media blasting is needed, we can produce those finishing touches in-house.

Custom Machine Building

Designing a machine can be a daunting task, but building it doesn't have to be. At Herman Manufacturing, we have the in-house manufacturing capabilities to complete your project, whether it's a small or large machine. We understand the importance of meeting your customer's expectations and will work with you to make last-minute changes as needed. Fabrication & Finishing

Our Fabricating Department offers mig, tig, and arc welding as well as bending and forming. We work with enamel, latex, and epoxy paints, and media blasting is also available to obtain specific finishes or textures. We understand the importance of delivering a quality product, and we're committed to exceeding your expectations.

Our History

Herman Manufacturing began creating snow-blower attachments for tractors, livestock gates, and livestock handling equipment in 1971. Over the past 50 years, we have evolved into a machining and welding job shop, meaning we don't produce anything with our name on it. We have the capabilities to produce a variety of machined and fabricated equipment, and we take pride in what we do. We are family-owned and operated, with six generations of our family involved with the company. We take pride in our work and will bend over backward to deliver you a quality product on time.
