Our Services

At Dave's Driving School, we offer a range of services that are tailored to meet the unique needs of our students. Here are some of the services we offer:

*Required 6 Hours of Driving Lessons*

Our 6-hour driving lessons are available for currently enrolled high school students at an affordable price of $350. This is a great opportunity to learn the necessary driving skills and techniques that are required to pass the road exam.

*Private Lessons*

We understand that some individuals may struggle with anxiety when it comes to driving. That's why we offer private lessons for $100/hour, which provide a more personalized and comfortable learning experience.

*Home-Study Packet*

Our home-study packet is required for all students and takes the place of classroom and online instruction. The cost is $100, and it is given out during the first drive session. This packet meets the requirements set forth by the DLD and can be completed in just a few days.

*Road Testing*

We offer road testing at a cost of $55 on weekdays, $60 on Saturdays, and $65 for same-day tests. We cannot test our own students, but we can refer you to others. If a student fails the road test and wishes to try again, they will have to pay another test fee.

*Fast-Track Program*

Our fast-track program allows students to complete driving requirements in as little as 14 days for an additional cost of $100. Most students finish within about a month, and driving occurs during three separate 2-hour sessions at a convenient location.

*Registration and Payment*

Registration and payment occur on the first drive, and a valid learner's permit is required for each drive. We prefer Venmo, but also accept cash and checks. NSF is a $50 fee, and if you enable Venmo's protection program, you will need to cover the fee.

At Dave's Driving School, we offer twice as much driving time as high schools, and all driving takes place on the road instead of in a parking lot or range. Our program is Utah State Certified and Driver's License Division (DLD) approved, and we are a certified 3rd Party Road Examiner.

Our home-study packet is a great alternative to online or classroom instruction, and most students finish within just a few days. Our instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging, and they work around your schedule to ensure a comfortable learning experience.
