International Mechanical

Alaska Mechanical Contractors Association (AMCA) is a trade association of mechanical contractors operating primarily in south central Alaska, but also elsewhere in the state of Alaska. Our member companies offer a wide range of services, including commercial plumbing, heating, HVAC, refrigeration, service, industrial piping, controls, and custom fabrication. With a rich history dating back to 1969, our organization was founded to promote the mechanical contracting industry in our area.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a platform for mechanical contractors to come together, share knowledge, and resources to promote the growth and development of the industry in Alaska. We strive to create an environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and excellence among our members, allowing them to provide top-notch services to their clients.

Our Services

As a trade association, we offer a variety of services to our members, including training and education, industry updates, networking opportunities, and advocacy. Our members benefit from access to exclusive resources, including industry-specific information, technical guidance, and business support. We also provide a platform for members to share their experiences, best practices, and innovative solutions to common industry challenges.

Our Membership

Our membership is comprised of mechanical contractors, plumbing and/or sheet metal contractors, and associate members who are signatory to either or both of the unions (local or national agreements). Our members are automatically part of the State association and have the opportunity to join national organizations such as SMACNA or MCAA. We believe that by working together, we can achieve more and make a positive impact on the mechanical contracting industry in Alaska.
