Tanalian Bible Camp

At Tanalian Bible Camp, we are dedicated to providing an opportunity for evangelism, discipleship, and Christian fellowship through camping, conferences, retreats, and Biblical education. Our mission is to come alongside the Bible-believing churches in rural Alaska, leading to hope-filled Alaskans glorifying God by leading healthy families and communities.

Our story began in the community of Port Alsworth, Alaska, where we are located on the shores of Lake Clark near Lake Clark National Park and Preserve, approximately 175 miles southwest of Anchorage. As with many of the rural communities we serve, our camp is only accessible by air.

Meet the Team

Our team is made up of dedicated individuals who share a passion for spreading the gospel and providing a safe, welcoming environment for all who attend our camps. From our leadership team to our volunteers, we believe that everyone plays a vital role in creating an atmosphere of love, respect, and spiritual growth.

History

Since our inception, we have been committed to providing a place where individuals can come together to learn about God and build meaningful relationships with others. Over the years, we have seen countless lives transformed by the power of the gospel, and we continue to strive for excellence in all that we do.

Master Plan-Vision

Our vision is to expand fellowship opportunities and provide a place where individuals can come to learn, grow, and be inspired by the teachings of the Bible. Through our Koinonia Campaign, we aim to raise $3.4 million to further this vision and make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.

At Tanalian Bible Camp, we believe that God is the Creator of all things and that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. We believe in the power of prayer and the importance of building strong, healthy relationships with others. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where individuals can grow in their faith and be encouraged to live a life pleasing to God.

Our summer camps are designed to provide a fun, engaging environment where individuals can learn about God and build meaningful relationships with others. From basketball camps to teen pursuits, we offer a range of programs to meet the needs of all ages and interests.

Tanalian Leadership Center

The Tanalian Leadership Center (TLC) is a program designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to become effective leaders in their communities. Through this program, we aim to empower individuals to make a positive impact on the lives of those around them.

TLC Audio Podcats

Our TLC Audio Podcats provide an opportunity for individuals to hear inspiring stories and teachings from our leadership team and other guest speakers. These podcats are designed to encourage and inspire individuals to live a life pleasing to God.

Oasis - Teacher's Retreat

Our Oasis Teacher's Retreat is a special event designed specifically for teachers. This retreat provides a safe, supportive environment where teachers can come to relax, recharge, and be encouraged by the teachings of the Bible.

Spring Family Conference

Our Spring Family Conference is a time for families to come together and be inspired by the teachings of the Bible. This conference provides a range of activities and sessions designed to meet the needs of all ages and interests.
