Connecticut Society of Health-System Pharmacists

Since 1948, the Connecticut Society of Health-System Pharmacists has been dedicated to advancing the practice of health-system pharmacy through advocacy, professional development, and collaboration. Our organization represents pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, students, and associates across Connecticut, working to ensure optimal patient care and medication safety. We provide members with access to continuing education opportunities, including virtual and in-person events like the New England Residency Conference and Catch the Wave. Our advocacy efforts focus on legislative and regulatory issues impacting pharmacy practice, while our RxCELLENCE Spotlight program recognizes outstanding contributions by Connecticut pharmacy professionals. Through partnerships with industry leaders and educational institutions, we foster innovation in medication distribution and workflow efficiency.

Our member-driven initiatives, such as the We're Your Pharmacist campaign, promote public awareness of pharmacists' critical role in healthcare. With a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we support initiatives that enhance pharmacy practice in both hospital and community settings. Our board of directors and volunteer committees work year-round to address emerging challenges in healthcare delivery.
