Our History

The Ranch has a rich and fascinating history that dates back to the 1920s, when it was originally 4000 acres in size. The Campbells, a prominent Los Angeles family, acquired the ranch in 1924 and built their home, the Main House, in 1929. Over the years, the ranch has been a guest ranch, hosting many famous guests, including John Wayne, Greer Garson, and Greta Garbo, as well as authors, families, and even pilots from the RAF during World War II.
