Our History

Dennis and Sherry Rivett founded our company in Casper in 1987 with a vision of providing reliable and environmentally conscious recycling solutions. Over three decades, their dedication and hard work transformed Wyoming Steel & Recycling into a trusted name in the community. Their son, Shane Rivett, joined the family business and eventually took on the reins of non-ferrous metal buying. Today, Shane contributes to the company's success alongside experienced employees who have become an integral part of our team.
