Established in 1948 as a local, family-run business, JRCC has expanded its offerings to include a comprehensive range of solutions tailored to the unique needs of clients in both the commercial and residential sectors.

Humble Beginnings

Founded by L. Clarke Jones, Sr., JRCC began as a humble enterprise offering real estate and residential construction services while occasionally assisting clients with commercial ventures. The company's roots can be traced back to Jones and Robins, Inc., an earlier firm established in the early 1920s by L. Clarke Jones, Sr.'s father. Upon the passing of his father, Clarke Jones, Jr. assumed the presidency of Jones and Robins, Inc., before eventually forming Jones Realty and Construction Corporation.

As the Jones family continued to grow, so too did the workforce of the family business. With five children, each member found their niche and contributed their talents, ultimately offering clients the benefit of several lifetimes of experience in the real estate and construction industries. Today, Clarke Jones, III, and Paty Jones, Sr. proudly carry on the family tradition as second-generation leaders of Jones Realty and Construction Corporation.

L. Clarke Jones, III - President

As the current President of Jones Realty and Construction Corporation, Clarke Jones, III serves as the principal broker of the real estate division while providing leadership and knowledgeable guidance to the real estate team. His vast experience in the real estate site selection and acquisition process, coupled with his hands-on involvement in the construction division, make him a valuable asset to clients seeking comprehensive solutions. Clarke, a proud alumnus of Washington & Lee University, is an active member of the Western Henrico branch of Ducks Unlimited.

C. Paty Jones, Sr. - Vice President

Paty Jones, Sr. serves as the Vice President of JRCC, overseeing field operations and supervising the scheduling of various construction projects. His outgoing demeanor and in-depth expertise in methods, practices, and materials make him a favorite among subcontractors and suppliers alike.

James (Jimmy) Johnston - Estimator and Project Manager

With a lifetime of experience in the construction industry, Jimmy Johnston serves as JRCC's estimator and project manager for all construction projects. Jimmy's innate talents and common sense allow him to skillfully guide projects from inception to completion, saving clients both time and money.

Angela K. Cosley (Kristy) - Management and Leasing, Real Estate Division

Kristy Cosley, a licensed real estate broker since 2011, manages and leases the properties represented by JRCC while handling office operations in the real estate division. Her expertise extends to overseeing small tenant upfit projects, ensuring the seamless execution of even the most intricate details.

Liz Gosik - Accounting Manager

Liz Gosik boasts 25 years of experience as Jones Realty and Construction Corporation's Accounting Manager. In her role, she handles extensive accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reconciliations, general ledger, and regulatory reporting. Additionally, Liz manages all subcontractor contracts, ensuring obtaining necessary insurance information and lien waivers.
